About Project Manager

Use Project Manager in Adobe Premiere Pro to manage the size and organization of your footage files. Because footage files occupy a large amount of hard disk space, it is important that you store only the critical footage for your projects. Use Project Manager to trim your project so that it includes only the footage segments you use; you can then delete or archive the original footage. If you originally captured the footage at a low resolution, you can use the trimmed project, in conjunction with batch capture, to recapture the footage that you need at the highest possible quality.

Project Manager can also help you organize your footage by storing all the footage for a particular program in one location.
