Pasting clips between Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects

You can copy and paste clips between Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro. The pasted clip retains any effects or markers you created in the original application; however, the destination application must have the copied effect available to it. You can only copy and paste between respective Timeline windows in the two programs.

Note: If you want to transfer entire sequences, you can also import your project into After Effects. Upon import, After Effects gives you the choice of importing any number of your sequences as well as the accompanying audio. See After Effects Help for more information.
