3D MAX TUTORIALS

Animation Utilities

3ds max provides utilities to assist in animating scenes. Follow/Bank is an alternative to the Path constraint. Motion Capture lets you record the motion of an external device, and apply it to objects in your scene. Camera Tracker synchronizes a background by matching the movement of a 3ds max camera to a real camera. Dynamics generates animation by simulating real-world physics.

Use the Utilities panel to open an animation utility and make it active.
