With Filters, you display or limit items in the Controller window, and function curves in the Key window. When you click the Filters button, Track View's Filters dialog is displayed.

You can also right-click Filters for quick selection of items.

Tip: You can set up a default filter configuration. Open a single Track View, set the filters the way you want them to come up, and close the Track View. Save the (empty) scene as maxstart.max.
