Set Current Layer

Layers toolbar > Set Current Layer

This command, available from the Layers toolbar, makes a layer current.

Procedures

To make the layer of a selected object current, do one of the following:

Select an object, and click Layers toolbar > Set Current Layer.
Click Layers toolbar > Set Current Layer, and then select an object.
