Turn Object's Layer Off

Layers toolbar > Turn Object’s Layer Off

Turn Object’s Layer Off, available from the Layers toolbar, turns off the layer of a selected object or group of objects.

Note: If you want to turn off the current layer, a dialog will ask you to confirm your selection.

Procedure

To turn an object’s layer off:

  1. On the Layers toolbar, click Turn Object’s Layer Off.

  2. Select the object(s) whose layer you want to turn off.

  3. When you have completed your selection, right-click in the viewport or press ENTER.
