Unlock Object's Layer

Layers toolbar > Unlock Object’s Layer

Unlock Object’s Layer, available from the Layers toolbar, unlocks the layer of a selected object or group of objects.

Procedure

To unlock an object’s layer:

On the Layers toolbar, click Unlock Object’s Layer.
Select the object(s) whose layer you want to unlock.
When you have completed your selection, right-click or press ENTER.
